Stacey Caplinger is a healing arts practitioner, ANFT‑Certified Forest Therapy Guide, and founder of Homegrown Healing, LLC in Scituate, Massachusetts. Her work is rooted in an understanding that true health emerges from relationship; relationship with self in body, mind and spirit, with each other, and relationship with the Earth and the more‑than‑human world.
Her path began in the most intimate terrain: the long, humbling journey of caring for a severely chronically ill family member. Years of navigating the medical system taught her the harsh limits of Western medicine. She witnessed firsthand how it excels in crisis but often falters in tending to the deeper roots of dis-ease; imbalance, disconnection, environmental overwhelm, and the loss of relationship with the natural world. That experience reshaped her understanding of healing. It revealed that wellness is not something delivered to us, but something awakened within us when we return to ourselves and restore our natural rhythms of life in connection with the Earth.
This personal initiation led Stacey into energy healing, where she supports individuals in reconnecting with their body’s innate intelligence and capacity to self‑restore. Her Reiki practice is grounded, intuitive, and relational.
As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Stacey extends this work into the living world. She facilitates sensory‑rich, evidence‑supported nature immersion experiences that help people slow down, re‑attune, and rebuild the relational bonds that modern life erodes. Her guiding is rooted in reciprocity: humans remembering their place in the wider ecology, and the land meeting each person exactly where they are. Her programs support nervous system healing, emotional spaciousness, and a felt sense of belonging.
Across all her offerings, Stacey’s work is a bridge: between science and spirit, between the human and the more‑than‑human, between personal healing and planetary healing. She believes that when people reconnect with nature, they reconnect with themselves, and from that place, entirely new possibilities for health, community, and consciousness emerge.
Beyond her healing work, she and her Mom are the creative hands behind Tiny Potatoes (available for sale on this website), spreading love and compassion one tiny, crocheted potato at a time. She cold plunges in the ocean year-round, practices yoga, takes long forest walks, touches all the moss she possibly can, meditates, and cherishes time with friends. At home, she shares life with her husband, two awesome teenagers, and their rescue dog, Budgie.
